We are in Carlsbad, CA close to the beach so the temperature is mild. The photo of the Eggs were taken on 2/23/02 and the two in the nest were taken today 3/14/02.
It is an excellent picture of a healthy baby hummingbird showing the well built nest.
Most likely it is an Anna's Hummingbird.
